Terms of use

Who we are

Sospiro is provided by Vincent Winkler, Nikolsdorf 95, 9782 Nikolsdorf, Austria(contact@sospiro.app).

The app

Sospiro is a task manager. You can use it without an account. An account lets you sync your data between devices. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Because your data is end-to-end encrypted, a password reset cannot recover your synced data; the copies on your devices remain.

Subscription

Sospiro costs €5 a month or €50 a year. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.

If you subscribe through Google Play or the App Store, their terms govern payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds, and you manage the subscription in your store account. If you pay by card, Stripe processes the payment and you can cancel in the app.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from a subscription bought directly from us within 14 days without giving a reason, by writing to contact@sospiro.app. If you asked us to start the service before the 14 days ended, you pay for the period you used. Purchases through Google Play or the App Store follow those stores' refund rules.

Fair use

Don't use Sospiro or its sync server to break the law, or attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

Availability and liability

We work to keep sync available but cannot guarantee it without interruption. Your data always remains usable on your device. We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and personal injury. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to the damage typically foreseeable. Statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on the delete account page. We may close accounts that seriously break these terms, after notice where possible.

Law

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of the country you live in still apply.
